F-SPA FLEXIBLE Strip Pack Applicator In-line or stand-alone production of high-impact in-store hang-strips For automatic production, the Ishida F-SPA interfaces with a bagmaker or flow wrapper. The machine heat-seals bags to one of a range of patented Ishida strip-tapes at operational speeds of up to 75 per minute. Semi-automatic operation (where the bags are handfed by an operator working off-line, then automatically sealed to the strip) allows mixing of bags of different same-size packs, to produce colourful displays. The F-SPA handles bags from 50 to 203mm wide and from 60 to 280mm long. Enabling successful high-speed automation of the process by manufacturers and contract packers, it makes in-store promotion with hang strips an economically viable activity for the first time for many products.
