Introduction of TANG-GRIP Inserts: ISCAR introduces new TANG-GRIP inserts with chipformers designed for optimal face grooving performance on stainless steel (ISO M) and alloyed steel (ISO P). The TNF-C inserts have been re-designated as TNF-M for stainless steel, and new TNF-P inserts are introduced for alloy steel, available in 3 and 4 mm widths made from grade IC808.
Specifications:
  • TNF-M Inserts: Designed for stainless steel and high-temperature alloys. Available in 3.00 mm and 4.00 mm widths with recommended machining data of 0.08-0.12 mm/rev.
  • TNF-P Inserts: Designed for steel, available in 3.00 mm and 4.00 mm widths with recommended machining data of 0.10-0.15 mm/rev.
Face Grooving Blades:
  • TNFFH Blades: Available in various sizes with minimum and maximum penetration diameters ranging from 65.0 mm to 500.0 mm. Optional extractor TNFFH ETF 3-6 is available separately.
  • TNFFA Reinforced Blades: Available in sizes with penetration diameters from 30.0 mm to 130.0 mm. Optional extractor TNFFA ETF 3-6 is available separately.
Machining Data:
  • For TNF 4P: Suitable for SAE 4340 Alloy Steel with a thickness of 13 mm and diameter range of 80-130 mm, with cutting speeds (Vc) of 80-120 m/min.
  • For TNF 4M: Suitable for SAE316L Stainless Steel with a thickness of 13 mm and diameter range of 80-130 mm, with cutting speeds (Vc) of 80-100 m/min.
