The 206 Vibration Meter is a hand-held battery powered device available in either metric or imperial versions. The meter is capable of measuring the severity of vibration and displaying the result in units of Velocity (mm/s or in/s) or Acceleration (g peak). The unit is supplied in a protective carrying pouch with a sensing unit connected with a 1.2m lead. The meter is powered by an internal 9v (PP3) battery. The meter is available in two versions, calibrated in either metric (mm/s) or imperial (in/s) units. The meter automatically switches ‘off’ after approximately one minute to preserve battery life. The unit displays a warning symbol on the display screen when the battery requires replacement.
