System Overview
IPG Photonics' Robotic Laser Workcells are modular and highly configurable workstations that integrate IPG's fiber lasers, laser processing heads, and a 6-axis robot. Additional accessories include air knife, gas assist/plume suppression, and seam-tracking modules.

IPG offers several types of robotic laser workcells:
  • Standard Robotic Laser Workcell: Features a Class 1 laser enclosure with steel wire mesh machine guarding, dimensions of 40 x 40 x 72 inches, and laser power from 10 W to 1000 W.
  • Automated Laser Processing System (ALPS): Features a Class 1 laser enclosure with dual wall aluminum panels, dimensions of 58 x 100 x 76 inches, and laser power from 1 kW to 10 kW.
  • Compact Robotic Laser Workcell: Features a Class 4 laser enclosure, customizable dimensions, and laser power from 1 kW to 50 kW.
  • Custom Robotic Laser Workcell: Designed to meet specific customer needs with customizable dimensions and laser power options.
