The standard units are contained in an industrial grade 19" racks that can be either rackmounted or table-top. Each laser contains a DC power supply, a pigtailed diode lasers, an LED display, on/off key switch and a control panel. The units feature power monitoring, cur- rent control, feedback protection and error messaging. The units can operate DC or modu- lated with TTLlogic up to 50kHz. The standard interface is RS232. Avariety of different fiber lengths and diameters are available dependent upon customer requirements. Ared aim- ing diode can be provided co-linear to the output beam. OEM configurations are also avail- able.IPG's advanced technology is based on the use of highly reliable single-emitter diodes withestimated lifetimes greater than 100,000 hours of operation even at elevated operating tem- peratures. The units are completely sealed and provide users with unparallel performance, repeatability and reliability. Special multi-outputs units and higher powers up to 10kWare available upon request. IPG Photonics new DLR Series industrial grade fiber pigtailed direct diode laser systemsare available in several power levels up to 1000 watts. These units have a wall plug effi- ciency of 40-45%.
