GLOSSARY GLOSSAR ANGLE OF EMITTED BEAM The angle of emitted beam specifies how the light of an LED-lamp is emitted. A small angle of emitted beam (e.g. 30°) means a selective illumination of a small surface. A large angle of emitted beam (e.g. 120°) results in an extensive illumination. ILLUMINANCE The illuminance is a measure for the visible light that hits a surface. Its unit is Lux (lx). It decreases with the distance of the light source from the surface.
