Application and Models
Static evaporators are ideal for installation in small cold rooms or open showcases with natural air circulation by convection. The IES range is designed for high and medium temperature chambers, primarily for preserving goods.

General Features
Coils: Made from 5/8” copper tubes and corrugated aluminum fins with 12mm spacing. The casing is aluminum with protection collars. Available with one or two refrigerant circuits, the latter featuring a Venturi distribution system for thermostatic expansion valves.
External Structure: Includes a drip and drain tray made from coated aluminum, designed to prevent drips and collect condensation during defrosting.
Defrosting Heaters: Optional 230V electric heaters made from shielded stainless steel, with vulcanized ends to prevent shunts, compliant with IP-55 standards.

Options
Coils: Options include Bronz-Glow protected fins for corrosive environments, stainless steel tubes, tinned copper tubes, and reinforced copper tubes with 0.63 mm thickness.
Defrosting: Electric defrost in coil.
Structure: Stainless steel structure and tray. All options require consultation with Intersam's Technical Department.

Refrigerant Capacity
Capacities are tested according to ENV-328 standards with nominal capacities in SC2 terms.
