Product Overview:
The ITR830-005 is a gateway designed for monitoring and controlling Samsung NASA air conditioners via the KNX bus line. It features easy installation and can be placed inside the AC unit or at a suitable location away from it. The gateway connects directly to the AC's electronic circuit and the KNX bus. Depending on the model, it can control between 1 and 32 air conditioners simultaneously. It supports logic and converter parameters for energy savings, configurable scenes, and temperature limits.
Installation and Functionality:
- The air conditioner must be off during mode transitions between heating and cooling.
- The device can control air conditioners synchronously with multicast functionality or independently.
- Includes 4 logical advanced parameters, each with up to 4 inputs configurable as AND, OR, & XOR.
- Includes 8 advanced converter parameters, each with four mathematical operations based on input type.
- Provides error notifications for exceptional cases.
- Air conditioners 1-16 should connect to port A, and 16-32 to port B, with isolation between ports.
Connection Diagram:
The document mentions three different types of connections possible with the Interra Samsung NASA Gateway, though specific details are not provided.

ITR830-005 - SAMSUNG NASA AC - KNX GATEWAY-1

ITR830-005 - SAMSUNG NASA AC - KNX GATEWAY ITR830-005 is a air conditioner gateway that used for monitoring and control all the functioning parameters of Samsung NASA air conditioners via KNX bus line. • ITR830-005 device, can control air conditioners synchronously with Samsung NASA AC - KNX Gateway has easy installation feature and can be installed inside the own AC indoor unit or a proper location away from the air conditioner, it connects one side directly to the electronic circuit of the AC indoor unit and in the other side directly to the KNX bus. In addition, according to the model number, Samsung NASA Gateways can control 1, 1-4, 4-8, 8-16 or 16-32 number of air conditioners at the same time. Besides, logic and converter parameters can be used for energy savings, configurable scenes, temperature limits etc. Note : The air conditioner must remaining off while at mode transitions between heating and cooling. Device Power Supply Power Consumption • Logic and converter parameters can be used for energy savings, configurable scenes, temperature limits etc. • Samsung NASA air conditioner unit provides error notifications for errors that may occur in exceptional cases. • Air conditioners 1-16 should be connected to port A, and air condi- tioners 16-32 to port b. However, a and b ports must be isolated from each other. operations math calculations according to input type. • Includes 8 advanced converter parameters, each converter has four Cable Distance • Includes 4 logical advanced parameters, each logical parameter have Push Buttons multicast functionality or independent of each other.
