Frame seires Ring series Slot series □ The influence of metal proximity to sensing area If a moving metal part is near the sensing area, the sensor output may be disturbed. To avoid this, keep a distance from the metal object when installing the sensor to ensure that the sensor function correctly. Every object passing through the sensor should be spaced at least one sensor width distance. If more than a sensor is installed in the adjacent area, the minimum distance between the sensors must be observed as shown in the following table.
