This new IA-3772-E2 module may be used as a DHCP server or as a Static Addressed Slave. In order to provide the most streamlined experience, the Factory Default Parameters are set to maintain a continuous, uninterrupted connection, and is defined as a Static addressed slave. The Serial communication speed is set to BR 19200, the same serial communication speed as the Series-3000 Factory Default settings. The serial communication speed can also be easily set to BR 115200 while making sure that the target device is set to the same baud rate. The IA-3772-E2 Interface module does not need an external Power Source, nor power wiring cable or power leads as it is being powered by the Target Device using its Serial communication wiring, therefore providing a space saving and wire-free solution.
