LEDGON 100

LEDGON 100

Product catalog summary
Overview
The LEDGON 100 is a compact goniophotometer designed for analyzing the spatial radiation patterns of individual LEDs and small LED modules. It measures the entire hemisphere in the forward direction with an angular resolution of 0.1°, ensuring precise measurements even for narrow-angled LEDs.

Specifications
The goniometer features two angular axes: the phi axis (360° rotation) and the theta axis (±100° rotation) with angular accuracies of 1° and 0.1° respectively. It is compatible with spectroradiometers for measuring spectral parameters like color coordinates and temperature.

Equipment Setup
The setup includes a flat optical bench and a goniometer unit within a light-tight enclosure, eliminating the need for a dark room. The LEDGON 100 allows for measuring distances between 5 and 50 cm, with optional openings for larger distances.

Accessories
Optional accessories include a sample table for LED arrays, an XY translation stage for off-center positioning, and optical probes for measuring light radiation. These accessories enhance the versatility of the LEDGON 100.

Software and Control
The LEDGON 100 operates with SpecWin Pro software, offering control modes for goniometric analysis. It supports additional instrumentation for measuring current, voltage, and temperature. The software allows for automated measurement of luminous flux and radiant power.

Display and Output
SpecWin Pro provides various display options for visualizing measurements, including radial, semiradial, cartesian, 2D spherical, and 3D views. Data can be exported in IES and EULUMDAT formats for simulation programs.

Ordering Information
The document lists various components and accessories available for order, including measuring heads, sample tables, and alignment lasers, each with specific features and spectral ranges.

Control and evaluate with SpecWin Pro software The LEDGON 100 is operated using SpecWin Pro software. Two control modes are available: Y Sequence mode allows the adiation pattern of the test specimen to be recorded for the two spatial axes (theta and phi) at equidistant angular increments. Y Test series mode permits free definition of test sequences, i.e. measurements at any definable sequences of angular positions. Other add-ons of SpecWin Pro software and appropriate instrumentation also permit current, voltage and temperature to be included in the goniometric analysis, as well as control and...
