Overview
The GAM 400 is a modular mass spectrometer system designed for functionality and versatility, suitable for various applications in gas analysis, research, process development, and laboratory analytics. Its open system design allows for easy integration with additional modules, making it adaptable to diverse requirements.

Specifications
The system offers five mass ranges (1 - 16/128/340 and 1 - 300/512 amu) and features special ion sources and different types of ion detection. It supports several gas inlet systems tailored for specific applications, including minimal sample gas consumption (< 30 μl/min), fast response times (<300 ms), variable inlet pressure (1 - 1200 mbar), and high sample gas temperatures (up to 300ºC). The system can handle reactive and corrosive gas components and perform trace analysis and automatic batch sampling. Up to three gas inlets can be installed simultaneously.

Modules and Customization
The GAM 400 includes valve block units for automatic sample and calibration gas switching and application-specific modules for vacuum systems, LN2 cooling, heating, and software for system control and data exchange. Adapter units are available for coupling with elemental analyzers, thermo balances, calorimeters, and other devices.
