Keyphasor Bently Nevada Order option P61 Description The inductive eddy current probe from Bentley Nevada is mounted in an intermediate ring screwed on the bearing enclosure. It can be fitted either at the DE or NDE. The eddy current measurement chain consists of proximitor and a probe with integral coaxial cable. The proximitor is integrated in the enclosure and connected directly with the probe. The keyphasor is wired in an auxiliary terminal box. The field connection can be made there. The measuring sensor registers the inductive change of the voltage whenever the groove milled in the rotor passes it. Speed measurement: The number of revolutions over a specific time interval can be determined with the number of voltage fluctuations and so the frequency of the rotor calculated. Phase angle: With a conjunction of Bently Nevada vibration monitoring (A02), it can determine any displacement of the shaft in the orbit. The keyphasor is used to measure the phase angle for the vibration analysis.
