IY series hydraulic planetary gearboxes

Product catalog summary
Specification Explanation
1. Total displacement is calculated by multiplying the hydraulic motor displacement with the transmission ratio of the planetary gearbox.
2. Rated torque accounts for a pressure loss of 2MPa and transmission efficiency at system pressures of 16MPa or 20MPa.
3. Transmission efficiency includes the mechanical efficiency of both the hydraulic motor and the planetary gearbox.
Selection Instructions
1. IY series hydraulic transmission drives can operate under high back pressure, with a continuous working condition limit of 10MPa.
2. The maximum allowable casing pressure is 0.1MPa. If the system return line back pressure exceeds this, it must be specified when ordering.
3. Recommended hydraulic oil is high-quality mineral-based, with anti-wear, anti-foam, and anti-oxidation properties. Ideal oil temperature is 30-50°C, with an allowable range of -20 to 80°C. For temperatures outside 10-60°C, low-freezing hydraulic oil should be used. Oil viscosity should be between 40cSt and 60cSt, with an allowable range of 5cSt to 3000cSt. For water-based emulsified liquids, contact the supplier.
4. Use hydraulic oil with a filter rating of 25 micrometers or higher.
5. The drives are bi-directional, with reverse direction available upon request.
6. Drain line positioning is crucial for smooth operation. Ensure the motor casing is filled with hydraulic oil, and position the oil drain port to maintain sufficient oil levels. If the output shaft points downward, a 0.5bar check valve should be added at the oil drain port.
7. Distributors can be selected based on working conditions, considering pressure, speed, flow, connection type, and valve block function. The oil port direction can rotate every 72 degrees, and care should be taken not to damage the O-ring when adjusting.
8. For over power operation, contact the supplier for enhanced performance through special material and surface treatments.
9. For hydraulic swing drives, contact the supplier.
Additional Notes
1. Total displacement is determined by the hydraulic motor displacement and the planetary gearbox transmission ratio.
2. Rated torque considers a 2MPa pressure loss and transmission efficiency at 16Mpa or 20Mpa system pressure.
3. Transmission efficiency includes both mechanical and volumetric efficiency of the hydraulic motor and mechanical efficiency of the planetary gearbox. A relief valve should be added on the brake if working pressure exceeds 16Mpa.
