LIGHTNING SOLUTIONS INGESCO® PDC STREAM LIGHTNING ROD Lightning rod with electronic ESE (Early Streamer Emission) system, standardized according norms UNE 21.186 and NFC 17.102. Thanks to its latest generation ESE (Early Streamer Emission) system, INGESCO® PDC STREAM becomes one of the safest and most efficient lightning rods currently in the international market. Its technology has been designed to reduce the time of the electro atmospheric discharge, in order to increase their capacity for lightning capture. When a storm cloud is near to produce a downward electrical discharge (lightning), an increase in the electromagnetic field takes place. The ESE system from INGESCO® PDC STREAM accumulates this electric potential and afterwards releases it as high voltage impulses that ionise the air particles around the device. This process produces an upward streamer emission that attracts and captures lightning. INGESCO® PDC STREAM is the result of our R&D programmes that allow us designing our own technology both for prevention and for protection before lightning. Our research has permitted us to develop an efficient ESE system able to offer an intelligent performance: it only works when there is a real risk of lightning impact, lowering the risk of unnecessary discharges.
