Serie FS12

Serie FS12

Serie FS12

Product catalog summary
Technical Specifications:
The force sensors from the FS12 series have a measuring range of 100N and 200N, with an output signal of 2mV/V. They are designed for both tension and compression measurements and feature a rugged construction with small dimensions. The protection degree is IP65, ensuring durability in various environments.

Options:
Custom cable lengths are available upon request, with the standard being 1m. An extended temperature range of -40°C to +120°C is also offered, along with individual calibration services and internal or external signal conditioners. Additional options can be requested.

Applications:
These sensors are suitable for use in industries such as medical technology, weighing systems, testing facilities, machinery and equipment construction, sports equipment, winding machines, and industrial presses.

Technical Details:
The sensors operate with foil strain gauges (DMS) and comply with VDI/VDE/DKD 2638 standards. The service load is 120% of full scale, limit load is 150%, and breaking load is 300%. Sensitivity is 2 ±15% mV/V, with a zero signal tolerance of less than 2% F.S. Linearity deviation is under 0.25% F.S., and repeatability is under 0.05% F.S. The sensors have a cut-off frequency of 1000 Hz and a temperature coefficient sensitivity of less than 0.005% F.S./°C.

Electrical and Mechanical Specifications:
The nominal excitation voltage is 5V (max 7V), with input and output impedance of approximately 1000 Ω. The insulation resistance is greater than 5000 MΩ at 500 VDC. The sensor body is made of nickel-plated steel, and the weight is approximately 20g.

Environmental Conditions:
The operational temperature range is -10°C to +70°C, with a compensated range of 0°C to +50°C. The storage temperature range is -20°C to +85°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 95% (non-condensing).

Connection Details:
The standard cable is 1m long with specific color coding for connections: white for +Excitation, green for -Excitation, red for +Signal, and black for -Signal. The shield is connected to the housing.

Ordering Information:
The order code for the FS12 series includes the measuring range and preference direction (Z for tension, D for compression).

Additional Resources:
Application directions and user guides are available for download at www.inelta.de/service. Signal conditioners and accessories are also available, with datasheets accessible online.
