1.DESCRIPTIÓN The I-ACS system supplies ink to the doctor blade chamber through an adjustable flow, ensuring at all times the necessary volume of ink in the chamber for a correct supply. Once the work is completed, the system allows cleaning of the entire ink circuit, washing all the printing bodies simultaneously. 2.DEVELOPMENT In the pumping process, the team uses a pneumatic pump to suck up the standard ink bucket and propel the doctor blade chamber. A second pump absorbs from the doctor blade chamber. The relation of working frequencies of these two pumps and consequently of the flow of...
Open the catalog to page 2In any case, the common cleaning process starts with emptying the ink circuit and the doctor blade chamber for a practically total reuse (see technical characteristics) of the ink in future works. Subsequently and by means of an external pump, solvent or water (depending on the type of ink) that has already been used in previous cleanings is introduced into the circuit to remove any ink residues that may remain in the circuit. This solvent / water is again removed from the system by means of another external pump and stored in a tank for future reuse. In a second cycle, the system performs...

Open the catalog to page 44. ADVANTAGE The I-ACS system centrally manages all the ink supply and printing unit cleaning operations in the smallest possible space (thanks to its tower layout design). It allows the simultaneous cleaning of all the printing bodies. Thanks to the use of solvent / reused water from previous cleanings, the consumption of solvent / clean water in each process is minimized. Once the print job is finished, the vast majority of ink found in the system and in the chamber is recovered to the ink bucket and can be used in future jobs. Modular The modular design by printing groups allows the...
Open the catalog to page 5Average solvent / water consumption for washing the circuit of 5 liters per color unit (standard normal process). Times and consumptions taken in laboratory tests with an 8-color system and central drum printer instead of black to white. These figures may vary depending on the equipment, types of inks, distance from the equipment to the printer, environmental conditions, etc. 5.2 SAFETY The system is approved under ATEX regulations to work in potentially explosive environments using Exia protection. The pumps used are made of ATEX stainless steel. The design of the equipment is specially...
