Load Frequency Analyzer

Load Frequency Analyzer

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Load Frequency Analyzer (LFA) is a portable, solid-state instrument designed to determine the resonant frequency of induction heating loads without the need for heating. This tool significantly reduces setup time and minimizes waste of production parts typically used in trial and error processes.
Performance Guidelines: The LFA operates by plugging into a 120 VAC outlet and selecting the desired frequency range. The part is loaded into the inductor, and clip leads are placed across the heat station capacitor bus. The resonance is identified by adjusting the LFA frequency and observing the bar graph level. Adjustments to the machine's transformer and capacitor connections allow for easy achievement of the desired heating frequency.

This equipment eliminates hours of set-up time, and prevents the waste of production parts typically used during trial & error and heating & cutting process. The L.F.A. eliminates the guess work from the equation. Once your machine is set-up for a new application, it is easy to determine the resonant frequency for that application prior to heating. Performance Guidelines To operate the analyzer, simply plug it into any 120 VAC outlet and select the frequency range. Load the part into the inductor and place the clip leads across the heat station capacitor bus. By adjusting the frequency of the LFA, the resonance is determined by the level indicated on the bar graph. With adjustments to the machines transformer and capacitor connections the desired heating frequency can easily be achieved.
