Overview of GSC2™ Gate Sequence Control
The GSC2™ system is designed to enhance productivity and performance in injection molding by offering precise control over the valve gate process. It provides benefits such as weld line positioning or elimination, consistent part weights, clamp force reduction, and superior surface quality for in-mold decorating and painted or chromed parts.

System Interface and Diagnostics
The GSC2™ interfaces with injection molding machines using a position sensor for the screw, a transducer for injection pressure, and output connections for injection forward and mold close. It also supports cavity sensors. Diagnostics and data entry are facilitated through a keyboard, mouse, and flat panel monitor.

Unique Processes Offered by GSC2™

• Independent Valve Gate Control: All cavities fill simultaneously, with gates closing at independent volume/pressures, achieving balance by closing gates at selected inputs.
• Alternative Valve Gate Control: Each cavity is filled and packed individually, with gates opening and closing based on volume/pressure inputs.
• Sequential Valve Gate Control: Gates open sequentially as flow progresses, with packing occurring once all gates are open.
