Product catalog summary
Overview
IMO specializes in control component technology for the renewable energy sector, particularly solar energy. Their products are engineered to meet stringent technical and commercial standards, ensuring safe and efficient DC switching and optimizing solar energy conversion.

Solar Isolators
IMO Solar Isolators are designed for demanding DC disconnect applications, featuring a trigger ratchet switching mechanism with a switching time of less than 5ms. They are available in 2 to 8 pole versions with various mounting and handle options, suitable for both OEM and site installations.

Mobile and Panel Connectors
IMO provides mobile connectors for series connection of PV panels and cabling. Branch connectors enable multiple strings to be linked, allowing a single DC isolator to switch both strings simultaneously. Panel connectors ensure easy integration into the PV system.

AC Isolators
The AC isolators are enclosed in IP65 rated casings, available in 3 to 8 poles, and rated from 20A to 80A. They feature an interlocked enclosure lid and three padlockable positions for enhanced safety.

Key Features of IMO SI Range
  • True DC switch, not adapted from AC.
  • Operator-independent high-speed trigger ratchet switching (max 5ms).
  • IP65 rated enclosure with multiple cable entry options.
  • Knife edge contacts and arc cooling chambers for reliability.
  • Compact design with easy wiring terminals.

Technical Specifications
The document details specifications for various models, including rated thermal current, insulation voltage, operational current, and short-circuit current capabilities. It also covers mechanical life, maximum cable cross sections, and environmental operating conditions.

Safety and Compliance
All photovoltaic installations must include DC isolators as per IEC 60364-7-712. The document advises labeling equipment with safety warnings.

Conclusion
IMO's solar products, including isolators and connectors, are crafted to meet the rigorous demands of solar installations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Mobile connectors are used to connect PV panels in series. They also link lengths of cabling and allow connection to Branch and Panel connectors. Branch connectors are used to link multiple strings together allowing, for example, a 2 pole (single string) DC isolator to switch both strings at the same time. Panel connectors mount on solar string boxes, enclosed DC isolators and any other enclosed DC switching device allowing easy connection to the rest of the PV system. 1000V DC 30A Rated For 4-6mm² Cables Secure Easy Clip and Release System IP67 Protection UL94-5VA Fire Protection Class 2 Protection...
