OptiLine ACE Generation4

Product catalog summary
Product Description: The ACE4 OptiLine pump is designed for circulation and transfer applications with a flow volume range of 8 - 175 l/min and a maximum differential pressure of 16 bar. It is suitable for various fluids including fuel oil, vegetable oil, and hydraulic fluids.
Functionality: The pump can handle non-aggressive fluids with lubricating properties and can be certified by several classification societies upon request.
Applications: It is typically used for lubrication of engines and turbines, cooling and filtration in machinery, transfer operations on ships, and fuel supply for diesel engines.
Installation: The pump is flange-mounted to an electric motor and can be installed horizontally or vertically. It includes counter flanges and can be mounted on valve blocks T4 or T5.
Pump Model Code: The model code provides details on pump series, size, lead, generation, material, shaft seal design, mounting, valve, and special design features.
Technical Data: The pump features an integral pressure relief valve adjustable for different pressures, with a maximum set pressure of 16 bar. Inlet and discharge pressures are specified, with maximum differential pressure varying with viscosity.
Driver Information: The pump uses a magnetic coupling for power transmission, allowing for a maximum speed of 3600 rpm and standard clockwise rotation.
Sound Level: Sound levels are measured at 58 dB[A] under specified conditions.
Design: The pump includes an internal ball bearing and is made from nodular cast iron with surface-treated steel and cast iron components. Steam tracing is available for cold start-up conditions.
Performance: Performance values are provided for different pump sizes and speeds, with flow rates and power consumption detailed.
Components and Dimensions: A sectional view and list of components are provided, along with detailed pump and unit dimensions.
Accessories and Maintenance: Accessories include counter flanges, connecting frames, electric motors, and valve blocks. Spare parts are readily available, and detailed service instructions are provided.

3. Technical Data 3.1 Pressure Information Pressure relief valve The pump is equipped with an integral pressure relief valve with internal return, limiting the differential pressure across the pump and protecting the pump. Should the discharge line be blocked, the relief valve will open by the pressure. The valve is adjustable for different opening pressures. The value of the pressure limit can be set at the factory and should be adjusted at installation (see Service, Maintenance and Installaton for ACE OptiLine generation 4). The maximum pressure accumulation varies with pump size, speed and...

Typical pump sound levels refer to free field conditions at a distance of 1 m from the pump. Noise of driver excluded in the quoted figures. The sound levels are measured at a discharge pressure of 5 bar, speed 2940 rpm and viscosity 40 cSt, according to ISO-3741. 3.5 Magnetic shaft coupling_ < Torque values (greater than, at least) [Nm] OptiLine pumps: For higher viscosity, contact IMO AB.
