Bowl Polishing Machine
The Alpha type bowl polishing machine is available in three versions: Alpha II K for combined bottom surface and sidewall polishing, Alpha II B for bottom surface polishing with an angled head spindle, and Alpha II W for sidewall polishing. It features a brush positioning system for adjusting to the workpiece geometry and an oscillation control system for dynamic horizontal stroke control. The system is operated via four interpolating NC axes, with manual loading and unloading of workpieces.
This machine is specifically designed for brushing and polishing stainless steel bowls.
All process and geometry parameters are defined through a parameter-supported input program.
The modular design allows machines to be linked in a linear chain or rotary table, forming a complete production line with short turnaround times. An optional integrated automatic spray paste feature ensures consistent polishing results. The cutting pace is adjustable via frequency converters, significantly reducing polishing time compared to manual processes. The machine offers precise and reproducible results with a compact design.
The machine features axes strokes of 700 mm (X axis), 400 mm (Y and Z axes), and continuous rotation for the C axis. Standard commercially available brushes can be used, and the control system is Siemens Sinumerik 840 D.
