SONO WZ CONNECT
The SONO WZ CONNECT is a wireless water-cement (w/c) analyzer designed for fresh concrete. It utilizes TRIME TDR technology to provide fast, accurate, and reproducible measurements of water content and electrical conductivity in concrete.
The sensor is made of stainless steel with a ceramic window, measuring 154 x 60 mm. It operates within a temperature range of 0 – 60 °C and measures water content with an accuracy of 1-3 Liter/m3. The device can measure w/c ratios from 0.35 to greater than 1 and electrical conductivity from 0 to 50 mS/cm.
Powered by a 4.8 VDC, 2000 mAh battery, it supports over 500 measurements per charge. The sensor comes with a universal calibration for most fresh concretes, with options for specific adjustments.
Data is transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth to the IMKO CONNECT app, which is compatible with both Android and iOS. The app allows for data storage, documentation, and access to measurement parameters.
The SONO WZ CONNECT offers mobility, convenience, and the ability to store and process measurement data. It is suitable for continuous mobile applications and uses standard AA batteries, eliminating the need for a charger.
The device can be directly inserted into fresh concrete for immediate measurements, providing a representative result through automatic averaging. It is resistant to inhomogeneities and varying aggregate sizes, ensuring reliable results for decision-making. The technology also measures electrical conductivity, offering insights into cement content and overall concrete quality.
Measurements are completed in less than 2 minutes, testing large quantities of material for representative and reproducible results. The robust design is ideal for on-site use, providing practical and accurate analysis of water content and EC-TRIME in one measurement.
