Eco-Phyl® particle size distribution by Sedigraph® Eco-Phyl® is derived from a unique coalescence of mica, quartz and chlorite, known as leucophyllite. It has a lamellar particle shape which improves the mechanical properties and weather resistance of paints and coatings. Eco-Phyl® is produced through a succession of milling, screening and airclassification processes. Influence on sheen (85° gloss) Eco-Phyl® is an excellent matting agent. Unlike non-lamellar fillers, it enables formulators to achieve a significant matting effect without losing opacity.
