IMAT'Fire
IMAT'Fire exhibits a tenacity of 13-15 cN/Tex, elongation between 10-20%, and a density of 1.5 g/cm3. It has a water absorption rate of 47% and a water regain of 11%, with negligible shrinkage in boiling water.
The thermal conductivity is 45 mW/m°C, with a calorific value of 4300 Kcal/kg. It withstands thermal shocks above 300°C.
IMAT'Fire has a Limiting Oxygen Index (L.O.I.) greater than 40, can be used continuously at temperatures between 230-250°C, and has an auto-ignition temperature of 435°C in 100% oxygen. It emits water and negligible traces of HCN, HCl, and NOx when exposed to fire.
The material is highly resistant, non-soluble in common solvents, and retains 100% of its mechanical properties after 24 hours at 200°C.
IMAT'Fire meets several standards, including 100 hours of UV stability (dyed) in Xenotest, M1-F1 fire and smoke classification, EN 15025 flame resistance at level 7, and EN 367 heat conduction for 7 seconds.

IMAT'Fire can be blended with other technical fibers for enhanced heat and flame resistance. Variants include IMAT'Fire STATIC (with stainless steel), IMAT'Fire FR (with wool, viscose FR, PES CS, Modacrylic), and IMAT'Fire ARMOR (with high tenacity fibers like Aramids and Vectran).
Due to its high resistance to chemicals and minimal smoke emission, IMAT'Fire is suitable for a wide range of fire and heat-proof products. It offers similar insulating performance to rock wool, making it ideal for heat protection, upholstery, and technical fabrics requiring weight reduction.
