SB 74e Skin and blister machines The ILLIG skin and blister packaging system is capable of processing both plastic film as well as pre-cut plastic sheets. By closing the blow box, the material film is pre-stretched using a vacuum. The SB machine ensures a high capacity at a constant high quality, and it is very flexible thanks to easy-to-change format parts. The SB 74e has a maximum forming area of 505 x 775 mm and is capable of processing both material film and pre-cut material sheets. The skin packaging machine produces cost-effective packaging without further investments in tools. The toolless adjustment of the longitudinal and lateral cutters is another benefit of the SB 74e. A card that can be printed on both sides serves as the basis for the blister packaging. Loading the product can be done manually or semi-automatically. The transparency of the skin film in combination with a highly transparent sealing layer brings out the best of the printed card for a high-quality product presentation at the point of sale. The excellent fastening of the product to the cardboard back offers ideal product protection during transport. And the product does not have to be opened to ensure that its contents are present.
