IN WORKPLACES UNDER STRICT HEALTH AND HYGIENE CONTROL AND IN THE PRESENCE OF AGGRESSIVE AGENTS Driving The tillerand tiller control head with hand protection are ergonomically designed to allow ease of op੩ration with maximum safety. Forward/reverse acclration is activated by means of the throttle controls located on the sides of the head control unit: by releasing th驨se controls, the pallet truck is stopped by the action of the electromagnetic brake, whateverthe position of the tiller. The pallet truck is also equipped with a microswitch on the tiller for emergency stops. Thanks to the pallet truck's compactness and manoeuvrability, opration is consistently easy and safe, even in confined spaces. Also positioned on the head control unit are the fork lift and lower control buttons, the warning nom button, the lockout switch and a safety device which reverses the direction of drive in the event of contact with the operator. Chssis The single-body structure, entirely made in AISI 304 stainless steel, has been designed to ensure compactness, rigidity and sturdiness, limiting the machine's own weight so as to channel the maximum power into the loading op颩rations. Electronic System - Battery The MOSFET electronic speed control ensures smooth and graduai start-up, enhancing the truck's already considrable efficiency and therefore its operating range. A polarized plug prevents wrong connections and insulates the eletrical system from the battery during the charging cycle. A full and graduai recharging is guaranteed by the ICEM electronic charger, generally supplied with the truck and equipped with an end-of-charge automatism, an emergency timer and a voltage balancing unit. Traction unit The rduction gearbox contains the treated, ground and oil-bath lubricated gears. The travel MOTOR supports high level loads and has outstanding efficiency. The polyurethane or grooved rubber driving wheel, standard or no-marking type, is self-centred on the end shaft and can be replaced in just a few minutes. The "dead-man" electro-magnetic dise brake can be adjusted to adapt the braking to the weight and type of load. Reverse current electronic braking is possible. Lifting-Lowering Fork lifting is operated by a control unit with gear pump fitted with a suction/discharge filter, relief valve, lowering speed regulator valve and fork lowering solenoid valve. The fork lift and lower function is activated by pressing the buttons situated on the head control unit without releasing the head; this arrangement makes for greater work speed and reduces operator effort. The fork bearing frame runs on roller bearings inside INOX AISI 304 races, while the lifting levers rotate on lubricated bushes. To 驯ake up slacks, the tie-rods are fitted with adjusters accessible from the top of the forks. Maintenance The ICEM pallet truck can be disassembled in just a few minutes into 3 modules: traction unit, chssis and lifting forks with levers. This makes for extremely practical and economical maintenance, since work can be performed on the individual components rapidly and easily. Safety devices The pallet truck is fitted with ail the safety devices as required by standards in force and it has the CE marking.
