Open the catalog to page 4Hyundai integrated GAs Supply system Hi-GAS is the world’s first Fuel Gas Supply System (FGSS) with the fully scaled 8S70ME-C8.2-GI as the dual fueled 2-stroke engine built by HHIEMD under license from MAN Diesel & Turbo SE. The Hi-GAS design concept is an integrated FGSS to feed the required CNG to both ME-GI and DF GenSets. Hi-GAS is specially engineered to enable ME-GI to run port-to-port operation in gas mode provided that Hi-GAS is used for both ME-GI and 4-stroke DF GenSet. Hi-GAS will include a booster pump, HP pump, and a vaporizer with glycol water heating system.

Open the catalog to page 6Booster pump system The Booster pump is installed before the HP pumps to sufficiently secure the NPSH. It is important to maintain sufficient feed flow and pressure for the HP pumps. Valves and instruments for booster pumps will be included on Hi-GAS as skid base. HP pump system The LNG HP pump increases LNG flow pressure to the required 300 bar for the ME-GI. The pump covers the full range pressure from the minimum fuel gas load to the maximum load.
