Description
The Series 9600C Turbine Pump by Hypro is a high-capacity, low-pressure spray pump designed for tractors with a 1000 rpm PTO. It features a heavy-duty cast iron body, a glass-filled Valox impeller, and stainless steel shaft with Viton lip seals for corrosion protection. The pump is suitable for high-volume spraying or liquid transfer applications and includes large 1-1/2" ports and a 15/16" shaft with a 1/4" keyway. Forged steel couplers are available for secure mounting to a tractor PTO shaft.

General Safety Information
The pump should not be used with flammable or explosive fluids or in explosive atmospheres. It is essential to use liquids compatible with the pump materials. Maximum liquid temperature is 140°F. Disconnect power before servicing and ensure all connections are secure. Regular maintenance is required.

Plumbing Installation Instructions
The pump must be primed with liquid before starting, as it is not self-priming. The suction line should be the same size as the pump suction port and free of air leaks. A 1-1/2" strainer with a 50-mesh screen is required on the inlet side to protect the pump.

Tractor PTO Installation Instructions
Secure the pump to the PTO shaft using the provided couplers and ensure the pump moves freely before applying power. Install a torque arm and chain to prevent rotation with the PTO.

Operation
After use, flush the pump with a neutralizing solution to prevent gumming or corrosion. Use a 50% antifreeze solution to prevent rust. A flow control valve is used to manage agitation flow and pressure independently of nozzle flow.

Performance Chart
The performance chart provides GPM and HP requirements at various PSI levels and RPMs, indicating the pump's efficiency at different operational settings.

Repair and Maintenance
Detailed instructions are provided for disassembling and reassembling the pump, including inspecting parts for wear and damage. A repair kit is available for seal and O-ring replacements.

Warranty
Hypro offers a one-year warranty on the pump, excluding damage from misuse or incompatible fluids. The warranty covers repair or replacement at Hypro's discretion.
