Introduction
SilverPlus® technology is designed to enhance the lifespan of electrodes by allowing them to burn deeper compared to standard copper electrodes. This technology is particularly beneficial for voltage-based torch height controls, significantly reducing operating costs by extending electrode life.

Compatibility
SilverPlus is compatible with the following systems: HT4400®, HT4001®, HT4000®, HT2000®, MAX200®, and HD3070®. Adjustments to the torch height control’s arc voltage setting may be necessary as the electrode burns and the torch-to-work distance decreases.

Technology Overview
SilverPlus electrodes feature a hafnium/silver interface at the point of electrical transfer. This interface extracts more heat and forms a stronger bond, allowing for a deeper pit depth in the hafnium, effectively doubling the life of the electrode compared to standard copper electrodes.
