Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document introduces the DS 507/502 piston pressure switch, highlighting its precision, durability, and broad application range in industrial, mobile, and wind power settings. It emphasizes the company's expertise in material combinations and production techniques.

Function
The pressure switch operates on a piston-spring principle. When pressure exceeds a set value, the piston compresses a spring, triggering a microswitch and sending an electrical signal. The switching pressure is adjustable via an adjusting element, with mechanical stops to prevent over-adjustment.

Technical Data
The switch supports both AC and DC voltages, with a protection class of IP 65. It features a black painted aluminum housing and various connection options. The switch is designed to minimize wear and supports a wide range of pressures and temperatures. It includes specifications for electrical load, service life, and hydraulic compatibility.

Reset Differential Pressure
The document explains hysteresis in pressure switches, detailing how it varies with different seals and set pressures. Examples illustrate the hysteresis values for standard and special low-friction seals.

Dimensions
Dimensions for different types of DS-507 and DS-502 models are provided, with notes on the importance of using a pressure gauge for precise configuration.

Ordering Information and Terminal Assignment
Details on ordering, including model variations and special features, are provided. Terminal assignments for different models are explained, emphasizing compliance with electrical connection regulations.

RESET DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE 1. Standard seal (normal version): The hysteresis achieved during continuous operation is approx. 7-12 % of the final value at a set pressure of approx. 60-70 % of the max. adjustable switching pressure. Example: In the case of a DS-507-100 pressure switch with a pressure range of 10-100 bar, a hysteresis of approx. 7-12 bar is achieved at a set pressure of 70 bar. 2. Special low-friction seal (SS design) The hysteresis achieved during continuous operation is approx. 3-6 % of the final value at a set pressure of approx. 60-70 % of the max. adjustable switching pressure....
