This page will give a basic introduction to the Drive Motors available from D.L. Ricci Corp. Drive motors are the power source for all of our machining tools. The three main types of motors we market are Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electric. 1) Pneumatic; This type of motor is powered by air. There are multiple kinds that we offer, two types are: -The 3800 (1.9 h.p.) (suggested for smaller machines; 12" and under) -The 4800 (3.9 h.p.) (suggested for bigger machines; 12" and up) 2) Hydraulic; This motor is powered by fluid pressure. (7 h.p.) The types we offer are based on the torque/speed value requirement. 3) Electric; These motors run on 110 or 220 voltage. These motors can be used for light wall, smaller diameter piping.
