Introduction
Hydranautics' QUALSEP DairyUF membranes are designed for whey protein concentration, offering exceptional performance and value. These membranes are ideal for fractionating, purifying, and dewatering milk and cheese whey, concentrating whey protein before evaporating and spray-drying, and minimizing waste disposal costs.
Manufacturing Standards
All QUALSEP membranes are manufactured under ISO 9001-compliant processes, ensuring high quality and consistent performance. They meet FDA Title 21 Regulations and 3A Sanitary Standards for Crossflow Membrane Modules and are USDA accepted.
Product Features
The DairyUF 10K membranes are ultra-high flux ultrafiltration membranes that provide maximum protein yields with low energy costs. They are made from polyethersulfone and configured in a sanitary (full-fit) spiral wound design.

Performance Data
The Dairy10K series includes various models with different nominal element performance and maximum pressure drop specifications. For example, the Dairy10K 3838-30 has a feed flow of 30 GPM (6.8 m3/hr) and a maximum pressure drop of 15 psig (1.0 bar).
Packaging and Disclaimer
Elements are vacuum sealed in a polyethylene bag with less than 1.0% sodium meta-bisulfite solution and packaged in a cardboard box. Hydranautics provides this information in good faith but without guarantee, as conditions and methods of use are beyond their control.
