Intro. to Sandwich Valves (Ref. Info.)

Product catalog summary
Sandwich Valve Labels & Symbols: The document explains the labeling on sandwich valves, where letters A and B indicate the manifold sides serving as ports relative to the valve symbol. Numbers ➀ and ➁ show the surface positioning towards the sub-base manifold versus the four-way valve surface. Small numbers in the valve symbol indicate port logic, detailed in individual cartridge product pages.
Reversible & Non-Reversible Sandwich Valves: Some valves can be flipped to reverse function, requiring a seal plate due to the absence of O-ring counterbores. These are provided when ordered complete. Other valves have counterbores and do not need seal plates, as indicated in their symbols and descriptions.
Ordering Information: To order complete sandwich valves, select the base model number and fill in the required fields. The document provides examples and specifies porting options, voltage, seals, and manual override options. It also details the ordering process for sandwich valve parts, including necessary plugs and seal plates.
O-Ring Service Kits: The document lists part numbers for O-ring service kits, specifying quantities and materials (Buna or Fluorocarbon).
