Product Information PRESSURE VALVEDirect-acting, Pressure Reducing/Relieving Valve (High Pressure) Type: HPR08-D2 Max. operating pressure: 350 bar (5000 psi) Proof pressure: 630 bar (9000 psi) Flow: 20 L/min Description A screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type, hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve with internal pilot and internal spring chamber drain for a pressure-regulating device for secondary circuits. It is intended for use in stable input flow circuits. Operation In its steady state, the HPR08-D2 allows flow to pass bi-directionally from @ to © , with the spring chamber constantly drained at ® to prevent the pressure at ® impact the spool. On attainment of a pre-determined pressure at © , the cartridge shifts to block flow at @ , thereby regulating pressure at © to keep the pressure at © steady. In this mode, when the pressure at © exceeds the setting pressure, the spool will shift to relieve © to ® , until the pressure at © regains the setting pressure. The pressure at ® is additive to the pressure setting at a ratio of 1:1.
