This direct sidegating method allows for high productivity without sacrificing gate quality, while also eliminating the need for cold runners. Ultra SideGate is an ideal solution for deep draw parts such as pipettes, syringe barrels and other smaller parts, particularly medical applications where quality and gate vestige are critical. By direct gating parts with Ultra SideGate, molders can achieve resin savings, faster cycle times and performance across a wider temperature range. Ultra SideGate also allows for high cavity molds while maintaining a small mold base. Exceptional Quality Gate quality and vestige are critical factors in medical applications. Ultra SideGate offers exceptional gate quality with no smear and almost zero vestige (~0.05mm).
