Maintenance costs for machinery tend to rise as machines age. Wear and tear, along with a lack of available time for machine maintenance, can result in significant cost increases. When even a single machine is out of production due to unplanned maintenance, a customer can lose days of production and may be required to pay thousands to resolve service issues. Pro-Act Level 2—Intermediate level proactive maintenance The Level 2 Pro-Act program is focused on continuous improvement of machine availability. It contains every feature of the Level 1 program, including all of the selectable options (see program features chart). The prerequisites from the Level 1 program continue to be applicable (inspection for serviceability or machine audit, dependent on machine age).
