The Hunger shaft seal type WDI is applied as a sealing element for permanently rotating shafts and is capable of sealing on both sides. Aufgrund der besonderen Materialqualität und der optimierten Dichtungsgeometrie kann dieses Dichtelement bis zu einer Gleitgeschwindigkeit von 0,8 m/s eingesetzt werden. Due to the use of special materials and an optimum seal profile it can be used for speeds up to 0.8 m/s. Das Spaltmaß sollte 0,2 mm nicht übersteigen. Die Rauhigkeit der Gegenlauffläche sollte Ra 0,1 - 0,3 µm sein. Je nach Anforderung und Betriebsbedingungen empfiehlt sich eine Behandlung der Gegenlauffläche, wie z. B.
