RDI Rotor-Dichtsatz, innendichtend Rotary Seal, inside sealing Rotor-Dichtsatz, innendichtend Rotary Seal, inside sealing Der Hunger Rotor-Dichtsatz RDI ist als Dichtelement für drehende Maschinenteile einsetzbar. Er wird vorzugsweise in Drehverteilern zur Trennung von Öl oder anderen Medien bei unterschiedlichen Druckverhältnissen eingesetzt und kann beidseitig druckbeaufschlagt werden. Da die Konstruktion des Dichtsatzes nur kleine Einbauräume erfordert, können die Außenmaße der Drehverteiler gering gehalten werden. Der RDI ist für relativ hohe Drücke bei geringen Umfangsgeschwindigkeiten geeignet. Der Dichtsatz besteht aus 4 Teilen, einem beidseitig durch Kammerringe eingefaßten elastischen Grundkörper, auf dem der dichtende Gleitring aufliegt. Die beidseitigen Kammerringe schützen die gesamte Dichtung vor Einwandern in den Dichtspalt. Bei Betriebsdrücken über 300 bar und einer Gleitgeschwindigkeit über 0,1 m/s darf die vorhandene Betriebstemperatur 70º C nicht überschreiten. Der RDI sollte wegen seiner größeren statischen Haftfläche grundsätzlich dem RDA vorgezogen werden. Je nach Anforderung und Betriebsbedingungen empfiehlt sich eine Behandlung der Gegenlauffläche, wie z. B. Härten auf ca. 56 HRC oder Hartverchromen. With working pressures above 300 bar and a surface sliding speed above 0.1 m/second, the working temperature must not exceed 70°C (158°F). Due to its greater static contact surface, the RDI seal is preferred to the RDA. Depending on the specifications and operating conditions it is recommended to have the running surface hardened to approx. 56 HRC or hard chromium plated.
