Product catalog summary
Introduction
Hukx introduces industrial-grade albedometers, including Class A models SRA300-D1 and SRA200-D1, and Class B model SRA100-D1. These devices are designed for measuring global and reflected solar radiation and solar albedo with high reliability and accuracy. Additional models with non-digital outputs and lower accuracy (Class C) are also available.

Applications and Features
The albedometers are suitable for PV system performance monitoring and meteorology. They feature integrated surge protection, compliant with ISO and WMO standards, and a modular design for easy maintenance and calibration. Optional upgrades include a 4 kV surge protection device.

Albedo Measurement
An albedometer measures global and reflected solar radiation to calculate solar albedo. It consists of two pyranometers, one facing down to measure reflected radiation. Albedo varies with surface properties and is expressed as an average over a day with solar elevation above 10°.

Design and Operation
The albedometers are assembled using the AMF03 mounting kit, which includes a fixture and glare screen. They transmit irradiance data via Modbus protocol over RS-485 and can connect to data logging and SCADA systems.

Specifications
The SRA300-D1, SRA200-D1, and SRA100-D1 models are built with SR300-D1, SR200-D1, and SR100-D1 pyranometers, respectively. They comply with IEC standards for industrial environments and offer varying levels of measurement accuracy and surge protection.

Optional Accessories
Accessories include the SPD01 Surge Protection Device, ALF01 levelling fixture, and CMF01 crossarm mounting fixture. These enhance the functionality and installation of the albedometers.

Company Information
Hukx is a leader in solar radiation and heat flux sensor technology, headquartered in the Netherlands with global sales offices. They offer comprehensive support throughout the sensor lifecycle.

Hukx introduces "industrial-grade" albedometers. The alldigital Class A models SRA300-D1 and SRA200-D1, and Class B model SRA100-D1 albedometers are engineered to measure global and reflected solar radiation and solar albedo, also called solar reflectance, with the utmost reliability and measurement accuracy. Besides, Hukx offers other albedometer models with non-digital output signals and a lower - Class C - accuracy class. - complies with the latest ISO and WMO standards - the modular design facilitates maintenance and calibration Figure 1 Industrial albedometer model SRA300-D1. - the right...

Albedo and albedometers An albedometer is an instrument that measures both global and reflected solar radiation and, by calculation, the solar albedo, or solar reflectance for a particular ground surface. An albedometer is composed of two pyranometers, both installed horizontally, the downfacing one measuring reflected solar radiation. In the open field, the solar albedo depends on the directional distribution of incoming radiation and on surface properties at ground level. It is usually expressed as a single number, determined by taking an average over a day with solar elevation > 10 °. Changes...
