TECHNICAL SHEET INSULATED TORQUE WRENCH ½” PRODUCER: „HUBIX" CHARACTERISTICS One layer of working head insulation, red , at least 2mm, made of satoprene. The other elements of insulation, red, made of polyamide with the 30% addition fibreglass. The tool has a change-over of drive direction. Tool is controlled and tested (10kV/10s) in accordance with EN 60900:2004. Square drive: ½” Capacity: 8 to 54 Nm or 5 to 40 IbF Ft Linear graduation, two scales (Nm and IbF Ft) Weight: 1000g APPLICATION Live working up to 1000V a.c. and 1500V d.c. Tool is used to tighten with suitable torque. It’s used with male hex. socket wrenches HNI or HNIL, socket wrenches HN or HNL and extension bars HPN 125 or HPN 250 to tighten screws and nuts in clamps on overhead lines and connecting boxes. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Insulated or insulating hand tools should be properly stored to minimize the risk of damage to the insulation due to storage or transportation. These tools should be stored generally separated from other tools to avoid mechanical damage or confusion. Tool should be prevented from excessive heat and sun light. Use a dry tissue to clean. When tool becomes strong soiled use suitable solvent to clean. CHECK AND PERIODIC INSPECTION Before use, each hand tool should be visually inspected by the user. An annual visual examination by a suitably trained person is recommended to determine the suitability of the tool for further service. The visual check shall be considered successful if: o The tool (in particular the insulation) is free from external defect, o The marking is legibly and complete.

Don’t use damaged, worn-out (cracks or deep scratches on insulation) or dirty tools in live working. Tool which becomes wet must be dried before use ATTENTION!
