HUBER Screenings Wash Press WAP/SL/HP

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document details the HUBER Screenings Wash Press WAP/SL/HP, a solution for washing and dewatering screenings in wastewater management. It highlights the machine's ability to achieve high dewatering performance and washout of organics, enhancing the thermal value of screenings.
Design and Function: The ROTAMAT® Screenings Wash Press operates in batch mode, where screenings are washed in a launder tank with adjustable intensity. The process involves high turbulence and shear to remove faecal matter, with the wash water and organic material returning to the wastewater flow.
High-Pressure Dewatering: Screenings are conveyed to a press zone where they are compacted and dewatered to a dry solids content of up to 60%. The high-pressure unit ensures reliable operation and the press water is collected and discharged with the wash water.
User Benefits: Key benefits include high-intensity washing, dewatering performance up to 80% DR, and significant reduction in volume, weight, and disposal costs. The system is hydraulically controlled, returns carbon-rich filtrate to wastewater, and is made entirely of stainless steel for durability.
Technical Specifications: The machine is designed to be insensitive to coarse material and features a compacting screw with reinforced flights for wear protection, ensuring high economic efficiency through reduced transport and disposal costs.
