HUBER ClimbMax® Climbing Rake Bar Screen

Product catalog summary
Overview: The HUBER ClimbMax® Climbing Rake Bar Screen is a robust and reliable screening technology designed for the removal of coarse materials in wastewater solutions. It is characterized by its sturdy construction, minimal maintenance requirements, and ease of retrofitting into existing channels.
Design and Function: The system features a downward rake movement that discharges screenings into a skip or subsequent transport device. Screenings are retained on a bar rack, which transports them out of the channel. The pin gear construction ensures even and parallel movement of the carriage and rake, enhancing operational reliability by ensuring defined meshing of the rake into the bar rack. All driving elements and bearings are positioned above water level, eliminating submerged moving parts.
Benefits: The HUBER ClimbMax® Screen is suitable for very high flow rates and can be easily retrofitted into existing channels. Its design ensures high operational reliability and minimal maintenance.
Technical Data: The standard channel width ranges from 600 to 4000 mm, with discharge heights starting at 1835 mm plus multiples of 507 mm. The maximum water impoundage level is up to 2600 mm. Bar spacings are ≥ 6 mm for front cleaned screens and ≥ 15 mm for back cleaned screens. Larger dimensions are available upon request.
Fields of Application: The system is applicable for coarse material separation in municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants, protection of delivery pumps in pumping stations, coarse material removal in intake structures, and screening for combined sewer overflows.
