Wall outlets Optical Telecommunications Outlets (OTO) are used for fiber optic termination of the respective residential cabling. HUBER+SUHNER‘s Optisocket manages up to 4 fibers with a minimum bending radius protection of 15 mm. To connect the customer premises equipment (CPE) with the OTO, an optical connection cable (OCC) is used. Depending on the equipment specific connectivity, HUBER+SUHNER offers a large range of different types. The Hofis system combines HUBER+SUHNER’s optical outlet (Optisocket) with a pre-assembled low-bend installation cable offering easiest installation of fibers...

Wall boxes plastic These wall boxes act as the interface between the optical access network of the respective network operator (drop cable) and the internal "In-The-Home" network. A passive connection housing (BEP/Building Entry Point) is used for splicing or routing fibers. HUBER+SUHNER offers a comprehensive plastic enclosure Optibox portfolio. This housing generally represents the termination of the optical network from the operator’s perspective. With a PON network structure, this termination is also used to accommodate passive splitters offering our customer the product they require...
