Product catalog summary
Overview
The Rotorique® high aerodynamic performance, heavy-duty centrifugal fan is designed with a radial bladed impeller and an inducer section at the inlet. It features a rotating diffuser that efficiently converts dynamic pressure into static pressure at the outlet with minimal losses.
Key Features
  • Performance Curve: Offers high pressure over a wide flow range.
  • Noise Levels: Low noise with no significant peak tone at blade passing frequency.
  • Mechanical Stresses: Designed to be less sensitive to high cycle fatigue and variable speed.
Design Specifications
  • Efficiency: High efficiency design.
  • Temperature Resistance: Operates up to 450°C.
  • Wear Protection: Full hard facing solution available for large process fans.
  • Corrosion Protection: Stainless steel option available.
Applications
  • Steel Industry: Sinter fan, BOS fan.
  • Power Generation: Primary air fan for fluidised bed boilers.
  • Chemical/Oil & Gas: SO2 blower.
  • General Industry: Waste gas treatment, low pressure wastewater treatment.
Process Characteristics and User Benefits
  • Steel Industry: Handles variable resistance circuits and high abrasion levels. Benefits include lower cost motors and silencers due to lower inertia and stress levels.
  • Power Generation: Operates under constant pressure with high noise levels. Benefits include simplicity and availability without an anti-surge device, and lower cost acoustic hoods.
Performance Metrics
  • Flow: Up to 560 m3/s.
  • Power: Up to 12,000 kW.
  • Pressure: Up to 35 kPa.
  • Tip Speed: Up to 200 m/s.
  • Diameter: Up to 4.3 m.

Centrifugal Fans Rotorique-1

Centrifugal Fans: Rotorique® range High aerodynamic performance heavy duty centrifugal fans The Rotorique® high aerodynamic performance, heavy duty centrifugal fan has a radial bladed impeller with an inducer section at the inlet. The side plate and back plate are extended beyond the outer diameter of the blades to create a rotating diffuser. The diffuser allows change from dynamic pressure into static pressure at the outlet, with low losses. Flat performance curve: High pressure over a large flow range. Low noise: No significant pick tone at blade passing frequency. Low mechanical stresses: Less sensitive to high cycle fatigue (frequent start and stop), variable speed. Design High efficiency. Temperature: Up to 450°C. Protection against wear: Full hard facing solution available for large process fans such as sinter waste gas fans. Protection against corrosion: Stainless steel option available. Power generation: Primary air fan for fluidised bed boilers. Chemical/Oil & Gas: SO2 blower. General industry: Waste gas treatment, low pressure waste water treatment.

Centrifugal Fans Rotorique-2

Centrifugal Fans: Rotorique® range For further information contact our sales team Tel: Steel industry BOS and Sinter fans Process characteristics Variable resistance circuit. Very high levels of abrasion caused by dust. Cycling which leads to very high fatigue stresses (continuous speed variation, frequent start and stop). Rotorique® fan user benefits Lower cost motor because of lower inertia, low stress level, safety and availability in spite of the great power, lower cost silencer. Power generation Primary air fan for fluidised bed boilers Process characteristics Constant pressure, fixed resistance...
