Product catalog summary
Overview
Hotset provides intelligent product and service solutions in industrial heating systems and heat technology. They offer components, system solutions, and manage entire value chains for various industries, emphasizing flexibility and interdisciplinary engineering.

Technical Specifications
  • Sheath Material: Stainless steel
  • Max Temperature: 250 °C / 482 °F
  • Max Pressure: 10 bar / 145 psi
  • Cross-section: 8.0 x 8.0 mm / 12.0 x 12.0 mm
  • Length: 200 – 2600 mm / 7.9 – 102.3 inch
  • Length Tolerance: ≤ 1000 mm: ± 3 mm / ≤ 39.37 inch: ± 0.12 inch; > 1000 mm: ± 5 mm / > 39.37 inch: ± 0.2 inch

Advantages
The tempflex channel is corrosion-resistant, replaceable if soiled or blocked, and allows for easy subsequent tool cooling and heating.

Options
Available with plug-in couplings in metric (brass) or imperial (stainless steel) options.

Application Examples
Used for tool cooling, pre-heating, or other tool heating with fluids. Suitable for extrusion tools, thermoforming tools, and die-casting tools.

Installation Instructions
To stabilize the tempflex, the clamping range of the plug-in couplings must be countersunk in the tool by a minimum of 5 mm and a maximum of 25 mm. The installation involves fixing the tempflex at the midpoint mark, securing clamping parts in recesses, and installing the tempflex evenly in the groove. A pressure test is required after installation.

Recommended Groove Geometry
Specific dimensions are provided for groove geometry to ensure proper installation and function.
