MAGNETIC FLOW METERS BY MAGNETIC AC/DC POWERED GENERAL INDUSTRIAL METERS Flow Measurement Systems The Hoffer Nor-Mag Series electromagnetic flow meters are designed for industrial applications and measurement of flow rates of water and heat-supply systems and chemical applications. They meet the most demanding requirements of high measurement accuracy and long-term stability. Measurements in both directions of flow are possible. The meter sensor has no moving mechanical parts and its installation in the piping system produces no pressure loss or hydraulic anomalies. The integral electronics unit provides for sensor energizing and processing of the sensor signals, and also offers functions for liquid batching control, detection of empty piping, internal meter status diagnostics, automatic cleaning of electrodes and selection of flow units. The flow meter has frequency, pulse and current outputs, as well as communication lines.
