Neutralize, Stabilize, Decolorize, Deodorize Hilco® Green Label Hilite, introduced in 1947, is a calcined low volatility (LVM) or low-moisture content attapulgas clay fuller's earth. Chemically, it is a hydrated granular magnesium-aluminum silicate. It is so highly porous that one pound of Hilite will have approximately 13 acres of absorbant surface area. It excels in neutralizing traces of strong organic acids. It removes high molecular weight sulfonates, resins, and asphaltines. It also removes trace metals. • Neutralizes Acids • Absorbs Polar Contaminants Ambient - perforated steel or expanded metal ambient provides added strength Lifting handle - for convenience in handling Polyester media retainer - under the ambient for superior chemical resistance and media retention Hilite filter media - the standard of excellence for fuller's earth media Available in four standard sizes: Maximum operating temperature to 250° F; 600° F available on special order. • Reclaiming Solvents • Mineral Oils • Insulating Oils • Heat Transfer Fluids • Electro-Hydraulic Control (EHC) Fluid • Vegetable Oils Fuller's earth's high absorption capacity for polar materials makes it the perfect choice for: • neutralizing acids
