Liquid Service: Difference between Hilco® Standard 'B' and 'E' diverter valves and Ball type: • Class V leakage vs. E (Class IV to V) and B (Class IV) • Maintenance no longer from the top • Spool pieces for coolers • Equalization still required • Higher torque requirement Gas Service: Hilco® Standard 'B' and 'E' diverter valves are not suitable. ANSI FCI70-2 Class VI leakage. Typical applications include: duplexing of cartridge filters, strainers, bag filters and heat exchangers.
