Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document discusses the use of decanter centrifuges and plants for solid/liquid separation, specifically focusing on the HILLER conditioner used in the food industry for product preparation.

Crushing Process Overview
The process begins with the product being fed into a conveyor scroll, which transports it to the conditioner. Here, crushing is performed using freestanding beaters to achieve maximum cell breakdown. The grain size distribution of the resulting suspension is controlled by a variable use strainer, and the suspension can be directed to a downstream pump.

Key Features and Benefits
  • Optimal cell breakdown for maximum yield.
  • Easy replacement of strainers.
  • Capability to handle product temperatures over 90°C.
  • Rotatable rotors and beaters to extend service life.

HILLER Process Benefits
  • Continuous high-performance crushing to create optimal suspension for decanters.
  • Reinforced bearings and shaft in the conditioner.
  • Infinite speed control via frequency converter.
  • Wide selection of strainer inserts and additional product options.
  • Processing under protective gas and direct steam feed options.
  • Cost-effective and easily replaceable wearing parts.
  • Explosion hazard area version available for dry products.

Applications
  • Milling of herbs and spices.
  • Extract preparation in the aroma industry.
  • Manufacture of mixtures for the tea industry.
  • Mash preparation for the juice industry.
  • Puréeing of frozen, dried, or water-based products.

Schematic Diagram
The document includes a schematic diagram of an extraction line featuring the HILLER conditioner and HILLER DecaFood centrifuge as central components of the process.

DECANTER CENTRIFUGES & PLANTS FOR SOLID/LIQUID SEPARATION CRUSHING PROCESS - GENERAL Continuous crushing of solids in a high performance conditioner to generate an optimal suspension for the decanter. HILLER CONDITIONER FOR PRODUCT PREPARATION IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY HILLER PROCESS The product to be crushed is fed into the conveyor scroll via a funnel or similar. This transports it evenly into the conditioner. Crushing is carried out here with maximum cell breakdown via freestanding beaters. The variable use strainer determines the grain size distribution of the suspension produced. This can be fed to the downstream pump via a collection container. BENEFITS - HILLER TECHNOLOGY ■ optimal cell breakdown for best ■ high performance conditioner with reinforced bearings and shaft ■ infinite speed control via frequency converter ■ large selection of strainer inserts ■ additional product and additive options possible yield ■ processing under protective ■ option for direct steam feed ■ cost-effective wearing parts and to increase the service life ■ optimal supplement to HILLER food ■ simple replacement of the strainers ■ product temperatures over 90°C ■ rotors and beaters can be rotated simple replacement grade decanters ■ explosion hazard area version available for dry produc
